A guy I know is selling his KRK Rokit RP8 G2s.

I live in a smallish bedroom and have been using headphones for the past half year. Do you think I should go for them at 230 pounds for the full set? I don't know if I might be overshooting my dimensions here.
If you think that there is a better pair for around the same price, please recommend it to me.

What exactly will I need to power them? I have a Line 6 UX2 interface, which is really just a super basic 2xXLR input device.

KRK RP8 G2 | Headington, Oxfordshire | Gumtree <- set

Thank you

How big is your room? Generally, avoid large monitors in small rooms, but these would probalby be ok for you, not sure of the price, though. The KRK's are powered, so you just need to take the line-outs from your UX2 to the inputs on the KRK's.

15-17 sq meters.

They seem to go for about 180 p per piece on the web, so this would be a good deal.

Tha't a small, but not tiny, room. With those monitors (or in fact any at all) you need to look into treating your room acoustically - bass traps, etc.

I'm gonna go for it. My roommates will be delighted.
