I was hoping to get some advice from you guys about what I *might* need...

I am getting my studio (ha ha) up and running, and I have followed just about all of the advice I have gotten from you HomeRecc'ers (thank you, BTW)... I want to throw down my list here, and get some suggestions as to the next step of gear to get; do I need compressors, anything I don't KNOW I need, that kind of stuff...

I have:
(1) Alesis Studio 32 Mixer
(1) Alesis SR-16 (for shits and giggles)
(1) Echo Mia card
(1) Superlux CM-8HA condenser
(1) AT MB4000C Condenser
(1) SM-57 (I plan on getting 3 more of these...)
(1) SM-58
(1) AKG D190E
(1) AKG D125
(2) MXL 990's
(2) Behringer ECM-8000
Lots of XLR, not great stuff, but stuff I could afford...
Lots of instrument cable...

My path is pretty simple:
mixer to soundcard, and I use the onboard mixer pre's for my condensers... I might buy a few pre's in the next six months, but for right now it's not an issue.

What do you think? Where should I go next?
Of COURSE I'd love to go either analogue (or digital tape/ADAT/Tascam DA-88 sometime in my life...)

I am on a pretty tight budget, but what do you think?
You guys are the opinions I follow, so thank you very much.

I appreciate your time, everyone.
Jimmy

I don't see monitors on your list. It's a good idea to have a pair of nearfields, even during the tracking stage. Event, Alesis, Tannoy, and Yorkville are good products to start..

By DAW, you mean Digital Audio Workstation, right?
Well, I guess the only digital thing is my soundcard and my copy of Cool Edit Pro.
