ADD -- blessing and curse
I went ahead and signed up with BMI a week or so ago. I got my "welcome" and confirmation email today. Feels pretty cool! Now I'm just waiting for my stuff to come in the mail.

So, I'm officially a BMI songwriter!
 
When you get your 1st BMI check it will feel even cooler!!! I still have a copy of my 1st check framed in the studio (I cashed the actual check :D )

If you're serious enough to join BMI perhaps it's only a matter of time until you see that 1st check - good luck!!!
