Tracks not bad at all,you defo got some talent :)

your on the road to making some great stuff

but your mix is awful !!!

By mix you mean some instruments are louder than others?

the actual sound of some of the instruments .. drums are real "sharp" was actually painful when they came in,had to take my cans off quickly ... eq out those nasties

too much compression on some instruments and not enough on others (for that genre) ... perceived volume is different through the mix ..

believe me i`m not having a go,i like your track i`m posting to try and help you get the best out of it ...

it may be better to save a new version with "new mix" or something tagged on the end (you`ll have the original to fall back to and compare) take all the effect plugs off and start again from scratch ...

like i said the tracks not bad,the mix lets it down :)

You guys have done it again

I learned so much from the advice you guys gave me last time.. so I will make sure I view every link you guys have given me, and some extra links on this forum.

However!
I thought starting over and tweaking the plugins was mastering and mixing is adjusting the volume of the different instruments. Just need a clarification on that.

Thanks so much!

Mastering is an entirely different beast. Go to the mastering section to read about it or just look it up in your fav. search engine.
Tweaking everything is mixing: setting levels, EQing, panning in the stereo image, EQ carving, building dynamics with the introduction of some of the stuff you;ve tracked, lowering otehrs etc etc.
YEP the drums hurt - REALLY hurt. tame the top end if nothing else.
As you are new you really should post your tracks on a streaming site like reverbnation, soundcloud or sopundclick. Folk'll be happier to download to listen AFTER you have established a relationship with them and after you've provided feedback/critique/commentary on their stuff.
Ouch, I had to stop listeining about 30 secs in to the drummed section and my head STILL HURTS. It's hard to critique the music when in pain - but the pain def says the mix needs WORK.

I will try my best to give advice on other songs. I don't have a soundcloud but I have a youtube channel -> /MyNameIsKalando . Well it seems like I do ALOT of mixing as I produce the track. I assume that is not recommended? Should I save ALL mixing at the end?

Thanks!
