Well, you put the little part on a tuning knob and grab the large part in your hand and crank it around when you are taking off or putting on a string. It enables you to spin the tuning knob a lot faster than you can by hand. Nice looking Epi Paul.

Hey, you had to ask SOMEONE... good to see you have not been flamed for asking, here... yet.

I'm an idiot

Thanks guys. If you were girls I'd give you the biggest wettest kiss for telling me and not making fun of me :D Thanks for the comment about my Epi, ggunn. Got it from MF for $550, it was $650 and got a deal on it. But still feel like an idiot for having to even ask about the pic :o L8r

It's all good dude. :)

(points finger and laughs maniacally at poor boy Dude :D)

Had he posted it with a picture of a Epi Gothic, THEN we'd have made fun. :D

hey, that EPI looks just like mine........oh wait....IT IS MINE!

(just kidding....:D)

Never played out live with only one guitar? If it hadn't been for my pegwinder, I'd have had serious problems - I could change a string in under a minute on stage.

I know that the winder has been around at least since i started playing (1992). Thats at least 17 years of easy winding you missed out on. I wish I invented that tool.

Oh wait.. now I don't get any big wet kisses!!:D

LOL. Ok ... just for you .... for making fun of me to .... here is a big kiss just for you.

MMMUUUUUAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. At least I know how to kiss :)

Some come with a notch in the part that goes over the tuner for pulling the bridge pins out of an acoustic. Very useful.

I thought the notch was for guitar floss!
Be careful with the winder - it's easy to get carried away.
I'll show you about IDIOT - I used one on a classical acoustic & it ripped the knob off leaving me with a real dilemma.

my luthier has an electric drill with the part that goes on the knob fixed onto it. Now THAT's fast.....!!

PS: I love my Sunburst Standard...hope you do too!
