:(

anyone else notice this problem..?

when I track guitars I typically use two mikes. One on one speaker the other on the one right next to it. Both pointing exatly the same at its respective cone.

on my soundcraft board and a mackie I used for awhile I never had problems doing this. I still track to adats but dump the tracks to cubase for mixdown. NOW in cubase I get phasing between those guitar tracks. So if I turn them up together they start cancellign each other out almost..

Of course I can start just hitting the phase reverse buttons on one of those inputs from now on but on the stuff I have already tracked I am at a loss how to fix this

any ideas how to fix this and why it is happening?

placing the mics farther apart will eliminate the problem...I would say at least 3' apart...this usually is not possible when using only one amp...get in stereo and use two amps...as for the existing tracks, try using the Tools One effect in the Master Section of WaveLab...
