A thread title like that invites some smartass comments.. :D

I will listen later. I have a million things to do.

I though was a David Cassidy cover.

Sorry, no "technical" suggestions for while (listening on very tinny pc speakers).

9 posts and you talked about cats, Paul Newman, dmp3, master bus, "I hate reverb" and more!:D

I know! I had to make 5 posts to be able to post a link and I wanted opinions on my music so I rambled a bit.

I can be quite helpful though in general and will be posting more intelligent posts in future.

Edit* No - it's an original. Written in a pub on a piano some years ago. Recorded a variety of times on different equipment. Tascam PortaII - Korg D8 - Yamaha MD4 - Cubase something or other - Sonar 6

Just want opinions as to the sound and if could be bettered somehow when I re-record it shortly.

Welcome!
:D Sorry, I forgot the "5 posts" thing.

Vocal sounds great...very Lennon!

My only nit is one that I find I am posting a lot these days. It might just be me (usually is), but I prefer some much wider panning.

No bad performance issues, and I know you can't remix, so I won't really offer much there.

Not bad at all.

My opinion is that you are not, in fact, a clown at all. :D

Anyway, the things I'm noticing as I listen (I suppose you can't apply these to this mix, but it's good to have ideas for your next mix):

I like the 6/8 accordiany-ness. It's pretty cool. The tune is pretty fun, and nothing is too buried in the mix.

On the downside, the accordian and lead guitar both occupy a very similar space sonically (tone, pitch, etc.) They would sound better if you found a way to separate them (either with panning, as Rokket suggested, or with some eq).

Your voice sounds good, but I think it could use some reverb. It sounds a little flat as is.

Overall, good mix. Nice work.
