I'm looking for a humbucker pickup for the bridge of my Telecaster, I want it to be the single coil size and a tone thats kind of in line with a brighter Firebird sound, with coil splitting for a "close to tele sound" too. I've always been a fan of PAF humbuckers sound, not the super distortion type, so if anyone can give me a few tips on whats out there that suits my need, I'd appreciate it greatly!

Humbucker tele pickups

Yeah, thats a great help, I like the STKT models with the lower distortion but a very nice bite to them! The audio samples are excellent as well, I think you've got me in the right direction, thanks a zillion~Tony :D

Seymore Duncan Hot Rail, a humbucker the size of a single coil. It will fit without any routing and wires up to the existing controls. Thats the fastest and easiest way to go and have a quality humbucker in the slot where a single coil is normally at. It should cost less than $100 and only take a few minutes to install. I've installed several in Strats and was pleased with the results. I havent tried one in a Tele but I think it will be as cloce as possible to what you may be looking for. Maybe someone who has popped one in a Tele can say for sure, I know they work really well in Strats.
