Hub for USB Microphones

Hello,

I have a pair of ATR2100's and i'm planning on adding a third. I want to connect all of them into an iPad air for use with the Bossjock Studio App. When I bought a USB hub to do this, I read somewhere that a 3amp powered hub should be able to do the job. However, when I plug only two microphones into the hub, one mic's signal is significantly lower than the other. I have used every port on the hub and, strangely, it is always the same microphone that is louder.

Anyone who can make sense of this, I would love to hear from you. Thank you!

Just a revision, it's actually the second mic that is plugged in that is the louder mic.

Just a thought. Disconnect the hub from the iPad, plug both mics into the hub, then plug the hub back into the iPad and see what effect that has. That way both mics should, in theory at least, be plugged in together.
