Hi guys , this is my first post so i am sorry if i have posted in the wrong board.

I have two yorkville monitors and a Brand new Yorkville YSS-10 Subwoofer i just purchased to go with them.

I am running XLR to TRS cables from the Sub into my M-Audio Fast Track Pro running on the newest OS X for a MacBook Pro

It sounds ok, but the bass doesnt sound low or nearly as loud as my 100$ 5'' logitech PC computer subwoofer.

Im wondering how i could tune the subwoofer so it doesnt sound so bad.

Don't you mean that you are running the XLR to TRS cables from your M-audio to the sub? Then the sub outs should be plugged into the two monitors? The sub has a gain control, where is this set? Have you tried reversing the sub phase?

The truth may be that the Yorkville sub has a more accurate reproduction of the sub frequencies than the $100 5'' logitech PC computer subwoofer which was probably full of woof and boof.

Alan.
