How's this firewire card?

I'm getting a Firepod in a bit and I was told that this was a good firewire card for it. Does it have a TI chipset? If not, is there one that does that's around the same price? If this doesn't have it and there's a better card, please post a link.

Thanks a lot. I'm planning on buying today or tomorrow so if you could help out that'd be great.
 
IIRC... that's the one scott over at adk recommended to me... and my understanding was because it was the TI chips... good luck...
 
Not everything is in a link. Sometimes people still talk on the phone or face to face...amazing, I know. That is one of the cards we have tested here at ADK, it seems to work well with everything we've thrown at it, which is just about anything in current production.
