We're recording a new track called Ain't Gonna Stop, it's not finished, but I just got another mic & wanted to know hows' the quality, the preproduction etc...

haven't mastered or put anything on top of it yet.

The vocals sound a bit too sibiliant and thin, but I'm only listening through headphones right now. What new mic are you using?

AKG Perception 200 I think I had eq'd it a little to high w/ cutting off the low end on the mixer. I've upgraded from a MXL 990

Yeh this is jus bout the krunkest beat i have ever heard, keep up the good shit. However the vocals sound to highpassed... otherwise i love it.

That 200 should be a noticable step up from the 990, I hope you didn't get rid of the 990 it's always good to have one of those around. And did I mention that beat was tight?....LOL
