hey everybody, I just joined, the only recording gear i have is a cheap tape recorder that I don't use due to its lack of quality haha. However I would like to get more into recording once I am financially able. I mostly play drums, and pretty minimal guitar and keys. I'm mostly into classic rock, and I miss some of the recording techniques of the past, which is why i wish to become an engineer, so that hopefully one day i can restore them and add to the existing tricks. Of course, I'd like to make it big as a musician, but who doesn't. Anywho, I'll see you around.

Welcome aboard. ELO said it better than I can... "Hold On Tight To Your Dreams." Read and learn all you can and practice every spare minute you have, the rest will follow it's natural course. Above all, do it for the love of music, not for the illusive promise of fame and fortune.
