Got a room thats clean, was thinking about turning it into a little recording room. Mostly be recording drums, but vocal guitar etc will be too. Just an opinion if the rooms too small to record drums in? I just don't want to spend all the time and money on traps if
its just too small to get an actual good sound.

My previous room (garage) has been taken over by parts, cars, tools etc. I used six mics to record my drums and they sounded pretty good in the big live room. Just scared about trying to get a good sound in this smaller room..

Thanks guys

Small room but my drum room's not much bigger. It's less than ideal but you can track drums there. You'll have to experiment with some room treatment.

A drum kit and desk will take up most of the room but you should be able to get a decent recording in there if you use corner traps and panels

I was gonna use the just for recording, and use the room beside it as a control room. So i wouldnt need to put a desk in there with the drumkit. Any downside to this?
