Hi!

Have a stupid question about how to write the song that was mixed down in Logic to a wave file....

Tried to search the threads but couldn't find any solutions.

I have bunch of audio files recorded in Logic Platinum 5.1 (windows version, XP os). The song has been mixed down but I couldn't export or record it (again?) into ONE wave file so that I could burn it into a CD. I really have no clue with this UNuser-friendly program.

Please give me some light. If anyone can help me here, it would be very appreciated.

It's pretty easy, just look in the manual.

Try File -> Export...

Hi Moskus!

Thanks for the reply....I looked at that THICK manual and couldn't find it...

So, as you advised, I tried "export" which has options to do it as
- OMF File...I believe it's Pro Tools format.
- OpenTL File.

Both options gave me a "Running out of sequences" error. The latter was even worse since it shut down the program!!!

What does it mean? Do I have other option to do it? Like route the output (stereo) to input and re-record it....I think it's not a wise way to do :)

I'm not sure if other upgraded version like 5.5 can export it to wave or mp3 format. I should try to download upgraded version.

You say its already mixed down ??? Meaning 1 stereo file ?? If its not already mixed down, just use the bounce feature on the last mixer object in the mixer enviroment. Or the digital mixdown feature in the flip down menu in the arrange window.

I got it! Thanks much Stealth! It's quite good coz all the effects, and inserts are output to the wav file.

I luv this board.
