how to trigger samples/loops from V-drums

I play a set of V-drums in praise band at church, TD-5 head I believe. Sometimes I use the internal sequencer and trigger the loop with one of the pads.

What do I need to do to trigger to an external sequencer - either stand alone or on a PC?

A midi cable and the manuals for both the sound module and the sequencer.

The sound module turns the pulse from the pad into midi info, the sequencer reads the midi info and plays the programed sound(s).
