I need help (no joke). I have a 25 year old reel to reel audio tape of my wedding. I would like to transfer it to a VCR tape and add some still images to see while the audio is playing. I only have photographs so they will probably need to be scanned or something.

I will be greatfull for any ideas or help.

One way I can think of doing this is to scan the images in, get one of those nifty devices that have RCA composite video out, hook that to the VCR through the VCR's video in, then hook the line out from the reel to reel to the VCR through RCA cables (I'm just guessing as to which types of ins/outs you have)...pop a blank video tape in there. You'll need a slideshow type program, which allows you to display an image as fullscreen (or image on black background), and click the mouse/hit a key to go to the next picture...there are several programs out there that do this, one I can think of now is Microsoft's PowerPoint (unfortunately you can only get PP by purchasing Office 2K...which is around $425 or so). Search the net for a program like that...but anyway, hit play on the reel to reel, hit record on the VCR...click through the picture slide show, and boom, you got it.

go out and hire a camera - transfer the audio to the camera audio track by using "audio only record" then shoot your photos Put them on a pedestal and light them properly and do a video only record and edit.

Cheers
