Can I test a SCSI CD-ROM by just plugging it up and putting an audio CD into it, or would I need a program to play the CD?
Here is my problem: I have it connected to an MPC2000xl. I cant get it to load anything.
All I get is a prompt saying "SCSI not ready". I want to test it somehow. Could I plug headphones into the front of the CD-ROM and play an audio CD, or could I only play an audio CD with some sort of program?
I know this doesn't exactly fit this forum. I just feel there is a lot of knowledgeable people here to help.
Thanks, Dave
