This is sorta offtopic but I guess I will take a stab at it.
Realplayer sucks and it cost money so don't bother with it.
Shoutcast is the answer. Its basicly streaming mp3's and you can use winamp or most other mp3 players to connect to it.
First you download and install the shoutcast server.
Then you download and install winamp (you can skip this if you already have it)
Then you install the Shoutcast DSP plugin for winamp.
You connect to the server with the DSP plugin and play some MP3's in winamp.
Then you give out your computers IP address and add :8000 to the end of it. ie
http://127.0.0.1:8000 then people can just click on it to connect. Note your IP address is not 127.0.0.1 thats the localhost IP. To get your IP in mirc type //echo $ip (Don't forget the second / or it won't work)
There are many little configure things I left out, there are too many for me to fill in. You should be able to figure most of it out.
