Hello. I'm rather new to this BBS... but here goes.

I recently downloaded an MP3 of a full concert by a band I like. It's CD quality sound (surprising for live music) and it's sampled at 256kb/s, and it's 25 minutes long.

Here's what I want to do: take the full mp3, and split it up into tracks, which could then be played on a CD. For instance... if I want to listen to all the tracks on the cd, I start at track 1. I want the CD to flow, with no spaces between tracks. But, if I want to start on, say track 8, I can do so.

Sometimes comedy CD's or Live CD's are done this way.

So, how would I go about doing this? What would the procedure be? What would the best program be to use?

Thanks for all your help and sorry for so many questions!

I answered this in the "Computer Recording and Soundcards" forum.

Please no cross-posting to other forums, makes it confusing for some of us :)

Welcome to the BBS BTW.
