Hi,
How do you guys record those arp. patterns in a Cubase SX).
Let's say I have a MIDI controller and a MS2000R connected to a PC (with MIDIsport 2x2) and Cubase SX is my sequencer. All the channel in Cubase SX are well set. The arp. is on in MS2000R so that when I press a Note in the MIDI controller I can hear the arp. coming out from the MS2000R.
Then I pressed the "Rec" button in Cubase SX and Press a Note (say middle C) in my Controller. Apr sounds came out forever and SX only record a Single Middle C. I manually stopped the arp. button in MS2000R then the arp sound stopped.
By pressing the "Play" button in Cubase and turned on the apr. button in MS2000R. The arp. sounds forever.... But all I want is to make it sounds for 4 bar long. Anyone has such exp. in sequecing an arp pattern with a specific length ?
I am happy to provide more info. in order to fix this problem.
Note : here is my MIDI setup :
Triton 61 Key Out --> MidiSport MIDI-In-A
Triton 61 Key in --> MidSport MIDI-Out-A
Triton 61-key Thru --> MS2000R In
MS2000R Thru --> Yamaha A4000 In
Yamaha A4000 Thru --> CS6R In
CS6R Thru --> XV-3080 In
Thanks!
