Trying to find a way to limit the windows volume control to have a max limit of the default volume level. Reason being so its set hard for unity gain with my audio interface
i.e. if I put the windows volume slider all the way up it is actual 50% the volume level of the default.
I know there are 3rd party utilities out there that can do it but I would rather do it manually by e.g. editing registry.
This link is on the right track but its related to windows XP so registry entries are different is different I cant find and info related to windows 7.
logarithmic volume control curve generator
My version is Windows 7 64bit
Hope some of you guys can give me some pointers.
Cheers.
