I have softwares like audacity, sony sound forge and mixcraft. I wanted to ask how to record my rap vocals with taking breaks after a verse?

Sorry, I don't think we know what you are asking. 'taking breaks' - you mean you want to pause the recording? Hit the 'pause' button on the DAW software.

Nah I think he means recording one verse, stopping and doing the next.

For me I usually just hit stop on the track. Arm a new track and start over a few seconds before I stopped it last. Try to make sure you keep things the same between takes (mic position and your proximity to it) so it all sounds even.

what a way to work just keep rolling record after your breather otherwise you end up with so many tracks. this would be an issue for me not a great pc here lol

it sounds more like he wants to know how to punch in. just stop the recording where you want and start again where you left off when you return. its even easier with digital software because you can edit out any bumpy starts(or false starts) you do.
