how to record fruity loops?

I own Guitar Tracks Pro 3. I can open up fruity loops into guitar tracks but and when I have the track I want to record it on everything is fine, but when I arm to record it, Guitar tracks doesn't seem to record anything. The loop I made in fruity loops will be playing but it wont be recording it on guitar tracks or even making any sound. It only does this when armed to record, I hear the loop being played when not armed to record. What do I do?

In HS 2004 we just open piano view and click the loop to insert it. Not sure if your software has the piano view in it.

Can you just "Bounce to track" from Edit menu?
