Hey guys,

hope you're all well :)
I recently bought a Roland SH-01A. Marvelous machine.

As you know, this synth supports polyphony, up to 4 voices, and can create chords.
Right now, when I record MIDI signals using chords, the SH-01A only sends the first note of the chord.

I wonder if and how I can send MIDI signals for every other note within each chord that the Roland is creating when I only press the first note.

Any ideas ?

Both Midi IN and OUT are connected to a USB-MIDI to my computer, for the moment. I'm working with LOGIC.

Thank you guys !!

It quite likely just isn’t possible because the chord thing is part of the sound engine and never really generates midi messages. Similar to the way that many synths with built in arpeggiators don’t generate or send midi for those arpeggios. I’m not familiar with the gear, and hopefully you’re lucky and I’m wrong, but you’d kind of have to ask Roland.

Thank you Ashcat,
Most kind !

Will let you know my findings.
