My cousin went to Thailand last year and gave me a percussion instrument from there for Christmas. She said they were called "Thai Finger Cymbals" and was pretty sure of the name. I have seen the small cymbals which are attached to the fingers of dancers and these are different.
The instrument is two cymbal shaped metal disks about 3 inches accross. They are fairly heavy metal. The two are attached to each other by a leather cord about 5 inches or so in length.
Does anyone have any idea how to play these... and if Finger Cymbals is the right name?
Thanks in advance... Take Care.
