Here's what I do for my own beats...I'll chop the sample of the beat I want in Cubase and then save it to mp3 (under 500kb, about 20 secs should do) and then upload it to www.mobileup.org. Once you do that it gives you an ID number that you can use with your phone's web browser to download the file. All for free to boot.

ive got a program called tone this to make things ring tones... I've had it FOREVER but I haven't really gotten much use of it. What it does is you import a mp3 file into it, and it converts it to ring tone quality or whatever. Then either it sends it to your cell phone or you do it yourself... forgot which.

I just got a new phone and had gotten rid of the internet service but since i can do this, i'm gettin it back! It'd be tight to hear my own ringer.
