How do i make my sound thick?

ummmm... how do i make my sound pumpin especially acoustic guitar?
 
I hate to say things like this...

Bad-ass thick, heavy sounding drums tend to sound bad-ass almost by themselves. No compression, no EQ, no fancy microphones.

These tools can add flavor or somewhat alter the sound in a way that some may want, but for the most part, drums or ANY instrument or sound needs to sound good in the first place.

Bad sounding drums will almost ALWAYS sound bad no matter what you do with them.
