hi...i have been frustrated for hours even days..at the most simplest thing..in the old days you clicked a drum pattern on a drum machine and voila you had a groove...now let me explain what i 'do not' want...
1 - i do not want to import a drum loop
2 - i do not want to make a drum map
3 - i do not want to play the drums myself
here is what i have succeeded in doing..
1 - i can open kontakt vst and play the abbey road drummer
2 - i can record the midi notes i play
but here is the problem...there are a ton of great grooves..and for the life of me i cannot figure out how to import the grooves into cubase
if i play the groove button and click record in cubase..its blank..
all i want to do is stick a groove into my cubase..sketch a song..then go back and find a few fills and stick them in the right places..so simple..
please..someone help a musician get started..how do i import a groove into a track in cubase..i have reworded my google search a million times..and nobody explains this most basic of basic things...if you have a video link..that would be even better..thanks
