Acoustics is not a haphazard slapdash thing to do; it's a science and you can do as much harm as good if you just throw things up. Lots of books out there you can order, too...

My personal opinion is that its not good to have your computer in the dead center of your room.

Where can people track? leaves for little space my comp is in the corner of my room.

i use my room as a control , not a tracking one.
i don't need space for other artists , i just need my own , right , space , to mix in the best condition my room can offer. i'm building my traps. the first step is putting them on the corners..
