Greetings all members I'm new to this site, and it's a great thing to join your community.

Currently, one of my friends doing a recording of there album, and they are trying to get the guitar tone as Immortal. Not the Old Immortal sounds like the new Immortal sound Specially like there new album "All Shall Fall."
Lineup is like this = One guitar [Rhythm and Lead]

So I want to know that how we can get the exact guitar sound as Immortal. What we have to use and what are the tips for it. We are using a one guitar there for it has to be perfect. Can you all tell me? What are the best things to use for this mattter. Pleas tell me with full details, so I can understand it very easy.

its more than likely that you wont be able to perfectly mimic their guitar tone. but even if you could why would you want to? why do whats already been done, why just try to be a clone?

IMO you should set your own path and do what sounds good to you. block out all other thoughts and just fiddle until you find a tone that is just bliss to your ears.

im just rambling, and its only my opinion among a billion others and im sure this isnt helping so im sorry for that.
but the best of luck to you!!!

No brother We don't want to be anybody. And I don't think any band can be like Immortal. Every band has its own style. The thing is we are using a one guitar because of that we cannot use that Old School Black Metal tone in our recordings. If we use that tone our songs will not sound as black metal. I just want to know that how we can get a very clear guitar tone to our music.I just gave you brother an example by saying about Immortal. Then you will get an idea about what I'm trying to say. We can clear the sound, but then it will be like Nu metal or Death metal. We want to use a clear and a power full tone to our guitars.

Anyway thanks for the link and your personal opinions.
