alright - i just read up a ton about this stuff now.
if i am correct:
a - i should take down all my egg cartons - they just make things worse
b - if i got nothing better, i should put up carpets all over to absorb some sound, and build some frames out of wood and thick fabric to lean against corners.
c - if i can, build a room that does NOT have equal wall lengths and is not a perfect rectangle, etc.
d - use soft, thick material, and alot of it
e - use different mediums because sound does not like to travel through different mediums.
anything else i should keep in mind?
and if anyone can help me out here on what to do in my basement (very old and not built the best.....open ceiling with just wood and wires hanging down, lol.), then please let me know.
