How to frame glass for a vocal booth

Ok... I have been building my studio, but I am stuck at trying to secure the iso booth window in the wall. I have the wall frame up, but I am not sure of the best way to secure the glass itself. I built the wall-window frame about an inch bigger (on all sides) than the glass itself. I have 2x4, 1x4, and I think 1x2 wood to work with. I have searched for instructional videos and other forums but I have not found what I need. I have a 3/4 inch thick piece of glass, so it's pretty heavy. Of course I want it to be in the wall secure with no movement, and no threat to fall out. Can someone please provide info on how to do this? If you're available to talk on the phone, I am too.

I'm sure there's very mathematical/scientific instructions on how to do it....but I would have a wood "lip" nailed around the wall-window frame so that it is smaller than the glass....then from the other side do the same, and sandwich the glass in-between them.
I'm sure some sort of rubber/foam/silicone seal around the edge of the glass and where the wood "lips" touch it would be advisable....that way the glass would "float" inside the frame on the rubber/foam/silicone, but still be held firmly in place and dampened from vibrations.

That would be my non-carpenter, non-acoustic PHD consultant, common sense approach.

I used square section wood each side of the glass (also double glass), but I sat the glass in neoprene strip, around the outside and both sides of the glass, reduces vibration transfer and seals the air gaps.

Thanks everyone. I was at a restaurant, sitting right next to a similar window... And I could tell that it was done kind of like how you guys are explaining. I just wanted to get feedback from those who knows what I am trying to do. I am about to get out there now and try to get it finished. I'm going to post a photo later.

The one thing everyone around here loves is studio photos....no matter how big or small, no matter how home rec or pro, it's always fun to see what others are doing, and new builds are the most interesting, since everyone is looking for a new way to do the same thing we're all trying to do.
