This seems like a silly question, but I haven't figured it out nor does it seem to be in the manual anywhere. If I place a "snapshot" into an audio project, there is a corresponding marker left in the Console Automation track. But I can't seem to delete the snapshot if I later decide don't want it. The doc seems to say you can edit contents in the Console Automation track from inside the Piano Roll view, but that only allows me to add, not delete.

I'm probably missing something really stupid... Any ideas?

I can tell you how to delete all snap shots. This will not effect volume and pan envelopes.

Go to edit at the top of the screen, then go down to run cal., then find the cal file that say's "wipe all automation" select it and hit open.

There is also one that says wipe selected automation, but I'll be damned if I know how to select what you want to get rid of.

If you have not tried using envelopes instead of snap shots I would. They are easy to adjust and edit.

Good luck

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I don't know how to kill all of them. I had the same issue you mentioned - you can't seem to select a single snapshot. I don't usually use them very much, except at the start of an audio project. So I just recently had my first experiance of trying to get rid of an unwanted one.
