Unpossible!
I am trying to fade out a guitar track by putting a fade at the end of the track. How do I get it to change from a linear fade? In Vegas, you just right click and it gives you about 20 fade types to choose from. I looked in the help section of cubase, but I couldn't figure it out.

Thanks in advance!

The only ways I fade are dragging the wav corners or in the automation.

I'm talking about dragging the corner - it automatically does a linear fade - do you know how to change the fade type?

Gotcha, no not off hand. I read about fade types in the manual, but not sure how to do it. Good luck.

Hmmm...may be different in SX, but in SE when I highlight audio and select "fade out," I get a pop-up where I can select from several different options:

I am using SL and there are no pop-ups, so it might be the same for you. You just drag the corner in, let it do the linear fade, and then in the Audio drop down menu, select "open fade editor". You just have to make sure you have the track(s) that you want to edit selected. There are a couple different "default" curves you can select, and then you can go further and edit within the graphic display. Hope that will help!

Perfect! Thank You! :D

Bump

I figured out a way in SX!!

Just fade down dragging the corner down. Then double click in the void section of what left of the file. Meaning if you pull from the left (ie fade in) then double click on the wav file to the left of the fade line. It opens the fade option window.

sorry, I just found it and thought I'd share. :)
