Mic--> TC Helicon VoiceLive Play--> UA LA 610 -->FF Or

Mic-->UA LA 610 -->Mixer (has dsp) main outs--FF (line ins)

I do want to record with the verb in the mix.

I would think (guess, presume ;) if you had a nice pre like that UA you'd use that to get up to line level..
Does the TC not have line in (or at least a trim' so you can?

..or split the mic, one to UA one two the TC and record the verb' on its own track

Can I split the signal after going thru the 610 so that I get boosted signals?

Can this be done without a problem to my unit?
You guys were saying about splitting the signal as 1 would go to my mixer for the reverb and the other signal would go to my Focusrite Forte for recording dry signal.

My mixer is a Zed 12FX. It does have a button to record dry. I don't know if the signal gets reduced in the recording the more gears you add before going into the computer. for example: mic-->preamp--->mixer---->interface--->computer VS mic--->preamp--->interface---->computer

Usually you use additional gear (the mixer is a great example) when you need the added features and/or makes the work flow easier. Shure, leaving things out of the path is technically purer' but the difference? is going to be nothing compared to the worry going up in here! ;)

Did you find out if the T/C can handle the line level from the UA? That was job one--

It looks like you have a few simple options-
Split the out from the UA into the TC and record that stereo' mix. (Ooops- you don't have to split' do you. Just one into the TC, stereo' out.. sorry)
Or put the UA into the mixer, use an aux send from the mixer to the TC, return the TC to the mixer, mix the FX and send that stereo' mix to the FF.

Do you need to record the with the reverb irrevocably mixed into the signal or do you just need to hear the reverb while tracking without recording it? If it's the latter rather than the former then there's likely some way to apply live reverb in your DAW while recording a dry signal.

Would be great if I could have both a dry and a wet recording. What's the easiest way?

Yeah I noticed that. First you said 'record with the verb. But it'd prolly'be nice to have the verb stereo and yee only gots two inputs (apparently?
That makes three.

Why would that be better than leaving the reverb off (other than in the monitors, perhaps) and adding it during mixdown?

Cause'..you have a verb and it'd be neat to use it?
Ok, not better certainly.
Now what I do (sometimes - the plugs negate a lot of this) and since OP is short on A/D's..
Record your track(s), send that back out to the verb, record the verb back in. Mix.

This is where a few more I/O's on the interface is handy though.

Ok I got it. I just press the aux1-2 button on the zed and it records dry. Think it's is much easier. I think after adding effects on Cubase it's even better than the onboard/outboard reverbs that I have.
