Ok, I want to start doing midi/digital audio recording. I'm getting a midiman delta 66 for digital audio ins and outs. Now, do I need a separate sound card for midi sounds and connections? Can I just get the midisport which will be the interface and plug it into my Roland GR 30? Or do I need an onboard sound card regardless?
