How is this mix?

Tastes vary widely but ... I like the voice to guitar balance. Nice stuff! I think the guitar could use some lower midrange, maybe 250-500 HZ to warm it up a bit. You've also got a little "thud" low frequency stuff going on, I guess because you have the acoustic plugged in??
Anyway, those are only suggestions. I don't listen to folk very much.

Thanks gentlemen.
I value all your comments good ones and pracitcal advice and tips.
Thanks JMZ for pointing out the need for more lower mids on the guitar.

I wish I can get rid of that thud sound , its a common mistake I make.lol

dave!
good vocals as usual.

decent amount of background noise as usual ;) better this time though, dont ever let that keep you from using plenty of compression when needed though! I know you lightened up on compression on your final mix last time to get rid of it...

if you are micing the guitar, move the mic a little further away to ditch some thud.

if you are plugged in, try micing the guitar as well :D

guitar kind of takes over the track towards the end.

once again, very nicely done vocals, guit needs some work (tone, cature method etc etc)

Thanks last days I will re record the guitar in a few days.
My Tascam DP-008 only has two inputs you can use at the same time so on one channel I miked up the guitar and on the second channel I DI'd my guitar plugged straight in and then panned them hard right and hard left.

I have just added a bit more low freq on the guitar and Reapers stereo enhancer on the guitar too.
