The PCM-70 is more expensive than the MPX-500, but I can get a PCM-70 for about 600 bucks in Sweden. Is that a good deal. I'm looking for a good reverb. I've heard the reverbs are great on both units. But wich one of those are best?

From what I understand is that the PCM70 is the best of the best. BUT would have to be used on equipment that is somewhat best of the best in order to get and HEAR 100% of its awesome abilities. If you have a basic 8-16 track RolandVS or somesort, well then my personal opinion would to use its internal 24bit effects, or the Lexicon 500, or TCs M series or the MPX1. Basically anything thats 24bit will work substantial on this LEVEL of recording. Personally I'm one of the thousands on this level.
Good luck!
