How does the ES-57 compare to the SM-57?

close, but not exact. made solid, and looks similar, sounds deeper rounded lows 1/3 price i got 4
 
yeah i've got one and I love it. hes right, the low end is different, but good different it sounds great still. i recomend it. I also had a post up with a soundclip of the mic on a guitar cab. If you're interested do a search.
 
since it's so cheap, i have one permanently in front of my guitar amp too, on a cheap stand from Radio shack, i think the stand was $10? a desk stand i think they call it, perfect height, no need for boom
