drums for 10,000 days were tracked through an API console to tape...i believe there were 2 mics on each kick, the snare, and all the toms, along with 3 OH mics(1 center, 1 L/R), a few spot cymbals mics, and a few room mics as well
the rest of the album was tracked through a neve console...
guitars were recorded through adam's signature marshall/triple recto/diezel combo...each amp went to a mesa OS 4x12 with a 57/421/121 on it, and i believe barressi said each of the 4 takes was bussed down and recorded to a single track...again to tape
bass...i read something about how the bass was tracked, but forgot. i really just remember that they stuck a couple of mics in front of justin's bass rig, and blended it with a DI track.
vocals...maynard sang into his personal soundelux tube mic, along with an SM57. the soundelux was used for the actual signing, with 57 beind used for any screams or distorted vocals.
then the tape tracks were imported to PT for editing, and i can't remember if they mixed ITB or sent the edited tracks back out to tape for analog mixing...i think it might've been a combo of both, really
and for the record, this is what i remember from some joe barressi interview that's floating around the web somewhere where he explained the whole process fairly in-depth
