how do i return it to the mixer

I use an ADAT as a go-between for my mixer (mackie 1604) and Digi 002.

So it goes like this:

mic---->mixer----->ADAT------>Digi 002-----Computer.

I plug my headphones into the Digi 002 and sometimes I also use monitors hooked up to the 002.

The mixer is analog so the ADAT converts it to digital. 8 tracks through the mixer and 8 separate tracks into the ADAT. The ADAT has a lightpipe output that goes into the Digi 002. It's one tiny wire but it does the job.

i want to return it to the mixer so i can add compressionn and eq and all that good stuff

if you use the digi 002 headphones for the artist then how do you do talkback stuff
how do you talk to the artist when he records?
