I use the clicktrack, and I can't switch time signatures at a certain part and then play over the click track.

It has to all be one time signature :(. I hate this, it limits me.

And if I just record another part in the time signature I want, I try to copy and paste it or something, and I can't stick the two parts together well, because the snap isn't precise enough..

If you're using VST 5.x for PC, check the Getting into the Details p. 549. It's in the chapter about the Mastertrack.

Try using www.fruityloops.com to generate your click track. If there are a lot of time sig changes, you will have to program the click from start to end. A bit of work(hey, you know the song from start to finish anyway!, no work at all), but it's much more accurate(and controllable). Export it as a wav, import it to a track in cubase. I don't trust the built in click in software multitrackers. Got to be a resident wav file.
