Im very confused as of what i need to get for my studio monitors to give me the best quality for producing and mixing.

Im getting a tascam audio interface.

How do i set it up ?

I recently read the manual on my Mackies and got a pretty good idea on how to get the best sound.

The KRKs look like they will take TRS, RCA or XLR. I don't know what outputs the Tascam has. Follow mjbphotos' advice.

get some different wires.

a simple set of RCA to RCA cables will do.

It's in there, you just have to ... :RTFM:

You say your "getting" so this means you don't have it yet? You can read the manual online - just Google it...

The best way would, of course, be to use XLR or TRS if your interface has the outs for them. You can also use 1/4" or RCA. 1/4" and RCA will be fine as well but, bare in mind, with 1/4" and RCA connections you are more susceptible to unwanted interference. Most of the time it isn't an issue though. Enjoy your new monitors. I have these and they are a great bang for the buck monitor.
