Hey-
I'm brand new to this game here. I'm downloading random samples to work with on various synth modules and I just realized, I need to back these up some how. But, my plan is to initially bring these sounds into say, SoundForge, then bring them into Cubase.
I don't have a dat based system or anything like that. My hard drives I'm storing the sounds on do have RAID - and I have a CD-R.
1. For those of you without dat or something like dat, do you just burn your samples onto CD occasionally. That would suck to have made a stock pile of sounds only to have a hard disk crash and burn.
Thanks for the insight.
