How do you record via Line In within Cubase Studio 4?

Hi All!

I've got my guitar connected to my Pocket Pod which in turn connects to my computer via the Line In port on the sound card.

I can record no probs into Audacity via Line In but I can't seem to find any settings in Cubase Studio 4 which will let me record via the Line In port.

I would prefer to use Cubase of course!

Any idea where I'm going wrong? If it's not possible to record via Line In within Cubase Studio 4 is there a version that will let you do it?

Did you consult the manual?


You have to set up the input buss. It will probably be under 'vst connections' in the 'devices' menu. Of course, first you have to choose the driver for your sound card in setup.
