How do you load plugins into Cubase LE?

I'm considering making the switch to Cubase LE from Cool Edit Pro 2.0 after three years of using CEP. I've got a few questions. How do you upload plugins (such as Waves plugins) to use in LE? How do I get sound to play back? (My monitors play through my Delta 44). Where can I find good tutorials to learn this program quickly?

Thanks for your time!

Plug ins are straightforward - there is a plug in folder nested in the Cubase programme folder, you just drag the .dll files into it.

Cubase will recognise your delta 44, you just select it as your recording and playback device.

The pdf manual that comes with Cubase is not too bad, but if you want a step by step guide Cubase SX Power is in all the bookshops and about 90% of it is applicable (I use Se which is very similar to LE). You are going to have to accept a bit of a learning curve, but it's not too bad and you only have to do it once ;)

My Delta 44 doesn't appear anywhere in the device list in LE, but it does in CEP.
Where do I select my Delta 44 to play back audio?

In the VST connections tab, I cant remember right where it is because I'm at work, just go to the top where the file menu is, I think its the 2nd to last pull down menu.. oh here it is.

1.
Open the Device Setup dialog from the Devices menu.
2.
Select the VST Outputs device in the list to the left.
The available output ports on your audio hardware are listed.
