I don't know man this isn't supposed to be a walters thread, im serious.
flip the radio. usually i'll hear this sound on drums and vocals...hence the chain I was thinking of.
but then you hear somebody like bono, going through a neumann tube mic through who knows what (not me at least) and it sounds totally different. most home reccers don't know what that expensive gear is supposed to sound like, so when we hear the radio, yeah I can pick out a strat vs a les paul, a dynamic vs a condenser, a marshall vs a fender, but not a neve vs an api. I have no clue man.
