How do you backup your projects to an external drive on a MAC Iam using Logic 8 ? Thanks

I always set up projects with all audio files saved in the project folder. This way all you need to do is drag and drop the project folder onto your back up hard drive.

Thanks for that but how do I do that ? This my first time using a mac. I dont really know where everything is saved right now also is the best time to back a proiect up?

Your Logic projects should be stored in your music folder under Logic, unless you specified otherwise. Connect your hard drive and open it in a new Finder window. Click and hold on the project folder, drag it to the hard drive folder (in the second window) and drop it. That should copy everything over.

If I'm working on a project that I'm serious about, or a client's project, I back up every day. If it's not a serious project, it gets backed up with my standard computer back up which is about once a month.
