How do these sound? (acoustic) Please comment.

This is my first shot at recording. It was for a friend, tell me what you think.





Not "mastered" - I recorded, mixed with a DAW, and then cleaned up with SF.

First time recording? Man that's great for a first time...I just posted to say that you have a great voice guy! Keep it up

Sounds OK

The low end on the guitar is a bit much, and the vocals could come up in the mix. Pretty good for the first time.
 
C'mon, anybody else? We are getting together again soon, and I need all the advice I can get.
 
Sounds very good...well played guitar work, and the vocals are nice.

The guitar does sound a bit bassy, and the high end needs to come up.
And raise the level of the guitar a bit.

Now, I am no expert, not even close. I am striving to record somethig as good as you have!

Very nice songs. I've saved them on my drive. I'm not that interested in how "professional" a song sounds. I'm interested in the message and the heart. This sounds like a guy with a great heart picking out a tune in his living room. Nice voice too. In Your Eyes, for some reason, sorta reminded me of Gordon Lightfoot..just a smidgeon. The Lord bless your work.
